Refund & Return Policy

Return eligibility varies by product and manufacturer. Because many of the products we carry are large, specialty, or made-to-order items, we encourage you to contact us before purchasing if you have questions about a specific product's return conditions. Our team is happy to clarify what applies to any item before you buy.

Cancellations (Before Order Ships)

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We can issue a full refund on most orders before they leave the warehouse. To cancel, call us at 1-888-255-4020 during business hours (Mon–Fri 9am–5pm EST) or email support@athleterecoverydepot.com any time.

Cancellations of Custom or Made-to-Order Products

Custom and made-to-order products cannot be canceled or refunded once production has begun. These items are built specifically for your order. If you are unsure whether a product is custom or made-to-order, please contact us before placing your order and we will confirm.

All sales are final on custom and made-to-order products.

Refunds and Returns

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will review your options. Return eligibility and conditions vary by product and manufacturer — please do not ship any item back before contacting us, as unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Once a return is approved and the item is received, refunds are typically processed within 7 business days.

Because of the size and weight of many products we carry, outright returns are subject to return shipping costs and a restocking fee of up to 25%, which varies by product and manufacturer. If you are exchanging for a different product, we may be able to assist with some of these costs depending on the situation — contact us to discuss.

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is the result of our error or a confirmed product defect.

Shipping Times

All orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Most orders ship within 5–7 business days. Estimated delivery times are provided on individual product pages and may vary based on your location, product size, and carrier availability.

Occasionally, delays occur that are outside our control. We will do our best to keep you informed and resolve any issues as quickly as possible.

Before You Sign for Delivery — Please Read

By completing a purchase with Athlete Recovery Depot, you agree to the following:

  • You will inspect your order upon delivery and note any visible damage before signing, where possible.
  • You will photograph any damage to the packaging or product and report it to us within 24 hours of delivery.
  • You understand that products must be returned unused and in original packaging. Restocking fees may apply.
  • You understand that once an order has left the warehouse, a full refund may not be available.
  • You understand that return shipping costs and restocking fees (typically up to 25%) apply to orders returned after shipment.

Damaged Orders

Inspect your order carefully when it arrives. If you notice damage, note it with the delivery driver before signing where possible, and photograph the packaging and product immediately.

Report any damage to support@athleterecoverydepot.com within 24 hours of delivery, including your order number, photos, and a description of the issue. Claims submitted after 24 hours may not be eligible for resolution through the freight carrier.

Please keep all original packaging and do not assemble or use a damaged product until we have reviewed your claim.

Warranty

Warranty coverage varies by brand and product. Please refer to individual product pages for specific warranty details. Manufacturer warranties cover defects and failures that occur during normal use over time — they do not apply to damage present upon delivery, which must be reported within 24 hours as described above.

BOGO Promotions

If you purchased items as part of a buy-one-get-one promotion, both items must be returned for a full refund. If only one item is returned, you will receive store credit or a replacement for that item at its individual retail value. Return shipping costs apply.
